gary & Jennifer Starr
Gary has been passionate about homebuilding since he was 16 and driving around Colleyville looking at homes, examining their design and construction.
With a love for interior design and a natural eye for color, texture and spatial quality, Gary’s wife, Jennifer, brings life and luxury to their clients’ new homes.
Together, they have built Starr Construction, tripling in size in just six years. Their passion for detail, pride in their work, and refusal to settle for less than excellence are the driving forces behind the Starr team.

A natural born creative, Mary explored her passions for interior design and renovation at a young age with her grandparents, who owned a flooring and interiors company in East Texas. Bringing together experience from the wholesale industry as a wholesale furniture brand manager & marketing manager, as well as experience with local designers as a design assistant and office manager, Mary joins the Starr Construction team as a Design Assistant and Marketing Coordinator.

After spending years working with area designers and gaining experience in the construction business, Diana brings that expertise to Starr Construction. Her integrity, initiative and attention to detail keeps the accounting running smoothly and efficiently. Her education and background in interior design adds a valuable layer of knowledge to the team.
Douglas Priem
After spending years behind a desk, Douglas discovered his real passion lay in building relationships through building houses. He has a solid background in construction from years with a large flooring company, developing blueprints, generating estimates and pricing materials. He advised homeowners on appropriate flooring and worked on-site to guarantee installations were on time and on budget.
Ms. Jaimie Bishop
Having relocated from Long Island, where she honed her expertise in the high-end residential construction market of the Hamptons, Jaimie brings a wealth of experience to Starr Construction. With 18 years of expertise in custom, multi-million-dollar residential projects, she has developed a keen eye for detail and a robust skill set in estimating, budgeting, take-offs, and project coordination. Her deep understanding of luxury construction dynamics and her ability to manage substantial financial and operational aspects of construction projects make her an invaluable addition to our team as a Project Coordinator. Outside of work, Jaimie enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring new places, walking, and paddle boarding, embracing her passion for the natural environment
TIM MCIVER
Tim embarked on his construction career at the age of 18, beginning as a framer before rapidly progressing to a trim carpenter. His exceptional dedication and skill caught the eye of a veteran builder, who mentored Tim and aided in honing his skills in project management. Over his extensive career, Tim has nurtured a passion for educating builders on the adoption of advanced systems and innovative techniques. At Starr Construction, he channels this fervor into every project, ensuring the implementation of cutting-edge construction practices that elevate the company's standards and efficiency. Away from the rigors of construction, Tim leads a serene life on his ranch with his wife and kids, where he finds joy in raising cattle and training horses.
